Ederson believes Manchester City’s defence is more consistent this season

Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson believes the club’s defence has made an improvement this term when compared to the previous campaign. The Cityzens were unable to defend their title last season as they finished 18 points behind Liverpool at the top of the table and they are hoping to produce a much better showing this time around.

They have picked up 15 points after nine games into the season and are six points behind leaders Tottenham Hotspur with one match in hand. Speaking in a recent briefing, Ederson said that the defensive displays have improved from last term, but there is still the need for some fine tuning with the arrival of new players.
